This group is suitable for anyone who has done any French
at school and has an interest in travelling to France
and/or keeping abreast of trends in modern France.
Conversation topics cover daily life as well as topical
and cultural aspects of France, and carries on informally
over a coffee break, after which the end of the lessons
focuses on the reading of a French novel. The group
is taught by French native guitarist and Sorbonne University
graduate Anne Chaurand who occasionally incorporates
guitar accompanied singing in the class.
Sessions are held at Castle Douglas Community Centre
on Tuesdays 09:45 – 11:45 (with coffee break).
The new term starts on Tuesday 20 September 2016, new
and returning members are very welcome. It is
anticipated that costs will be in the region of £6.50
per class.
